A beautiful wedding at this stunning venue, The Cow Shed Crail.

The Cow Shed is a beautifully repurposed series of farm yard buildings, a delightful and enchanting rustic venue that is busting with character and charm. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff are genuinely friendly and always welcoming. As for the location, Crail itself is a romantic-dream-come-true with its small fishing harbour and beach, quaint cottages which line its picturesque cobbled streets. The Isle of May stands prominent on the offshore horizon. Every nook and cranny is a glimpse into an endearing past.

Jane & Nick’s wedding took place at the end of September, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a warm autumnal day with bright blue skies and only a touch of haar in the air. After an intimate ceremony and a heart warningly touching exchange of vows, I got the happy couple to myself and we visit the beach and those picturesque streets to capture some stunning portraits. The bride and groom were glowing with the excitement of their day, It was an honour to be there with them to record those moments.

On our return to the venue the wedding guests, still suited and booted, had started a game of footy. The atmosphere was buzzing. And not ones to be deterred by their formal attire and miss out on a kick-about with their pals, the happy couple joined right in. A feeling of friendship, exhilaration and camaraderie lasted long into this celebration.

Once the sun had set, touching words shared and glasses raised the wedding reception was in full swing. Sparkler Exit in the courtyard was a great treat for everyone. Back inside the ceilidh raised the roof and the dance floor saw no rest. It truly was an amazing day.
